We are always looking for something a little "different" for our guests to try so, when I received this email recently, I knew it was something to pass on to you:
Have you got something to celebrate when you visit us? Are you a regular visitor looking for something new to try this year? We may have just the thing for you:
"We are delighted to announce that we have a fabulous new experience for 2016, steam hauled Cheese and Wine tasting evenings on board our stunning 1948 Great Western Saloon. Each evening is hosted by Steve Colling, a specialist in wines with over 40 years of experience.
Start your evening off with a pre-boarding reception (from 6.30pm) of Prosecco and canapés, before Steve wows your senses with over eight fine wines from around the globe as you travel through the fluvio-glacial valley to Grosmont and back again. During the experience you will be treated to a first class buffet of superb cheese, pate, antipasti and cooked meats with rustic bread, followed by an assiette of desserts.
With each intimate service limited to a maximum of 16 people we expect these great taste sensations to fly off the shelves. Priced at £72.00 per person for travel, food and wines, no concessions"
Dates available: 29th April, 24th June, 29th July and 30th Sept.
