Dalby Forest
Dalby Forest is situated on the southern slopes of the North York Moors National Park. The southern part of the forest is divided by a number of valleys creating a 'Rigg and Dale' landscape whilst to the north the forest sits on the upland plateau.
Dalby Forest is a great place to visit if you're looking for a relaxing or adventurous day out. Covering an area of over 8,500 hectares, you can enjoy cycling or walking through this beautiful natural environment - no matter what time of year it is.
The forest has two adventure play areas, a choice of 13 walking trails varying in difficulty from easy to challenging, 6 cycling trails and much more. Expect to find a haven of wildlife as you wander through these country trails as Dalby is home to hundreds of species of birds, little critters and wild animals - making it a nature lovers' and bird watchers' paradise!
The forest is also home to a wild Go Ape attraction with zip lines, tree top challenges and much more.
