Flamborough Head
The stunning Flamborough Head is the most northerly point you can find brilliant white chalk cliffs on the UK coastline.
Famous for its dramatic bays and caves, Flamborough is also home to thousands of birds throughout the year - expect to see hundreds of puffins, gulls, auks and gannets in the summer. You will also find colourful butterflies and flowers across the grassy cliff tops.
Because of its seabird colony, the headland is a great location for bird watching. It is also a popular hiking spot - head along the windswept paths and spot some adventurous visitors on their canoes heading around the bay below.
Don't forget to drop by the picturesque white lighthouse atop the headland too.
