Goldwing Light Parade
Every year thousands of bright dazzling goldwing bikes arrive in Scarborough for the annual Light Parade along the South Bay and West Pier.
The Goldwings have been arriving in Scarborough once a year every September since 2008. These stunning flourescent motorcycles line the town's South Bay with their riders dressed in fancy dress costumes for a unique parade.
The procession takes place along the stunning Marine Drive at 6:30pm before arriving in the South Bay where spectators can awe at the dazzling lights and bright colours. Following the parade is a fun fireworks display over the sea.
Visit Scarborough during the day to have a look around the motorbikes while they're parked up at the pier. From vintage classics to shiny new models, there are usually over a hundred bikes to see. Meet the riders and learn about the history of the event while taking part in fun events such as a raffle and tombola.
The event is free to attend but donations are encouraged - this year the parade is raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
